“QUICK PIZZA DOUGH” IS IN:

QUICK PIZZA DOUGH 
1 1/2 cups flat beer
3 3/4 cups all purpose flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 1 /2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. butter or olive oil
1 1/2 tsp. quick-rise active dry yeast

Mix and knead 10 minutes. Form into balls. Cover and let rise for 45 minutes, then roll out for pizza. Dough may also be made up the day before and stored overnight in refrigerator.

This same recipe may be prepared in a bread machine following manufacturer's directions.

Super great recipe, too easy! I used it to make 7 Stromboli for tonight, the kids loved it, so did my hubby. I will so be using this recipe all the time. Its funny I am always going around conserving the beer my hubby wastes to used it to cook - now I have another reason.

I really liked this recipe. I'm a man and never made pizza dough from scratch before, I just add everything as stated, mixed in some origanum for fun, and pounded away for a wile, and left it alone for an hour. I rolled it out right thin and it baked to make an awesome pizza, thin crust and everything was just right. Thanks for this sharing this recipe. PS, I had to use cake flour, South Africa don't sport all purpose flour. Josef South Africa

Great easy recipe! My dough is rising. I make beer bread all the time, use to make pizza with my mom when I was young. This recipe worked great for me! I used my husbands can of Keystone light for my dough, and added garlic and basil to my dough. Thanks!

This is good! I used Killian's beer. I also added...1 tbsp of dried buttermilk, 2 tbsp. malt, 1 tbsp. dried rosemary and 1 tbsp. dried minced onion. This makes it a nice spiced dough and I used the bread machine on the dough cycle.

Great pizza dough. Love the tang from the beer, we used Corona. Next time I will warm the beer slightly before I add to dry ingredients. 5 out of 5 stars for me!
