PRETZEL TORTE 
2 2/3 c. pretzels, pulverized
1/4 c. sugar
1 stick (8 tbsp.) butter, melted
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
Lg. box strawberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
16 oz. frozen strawberries, defrosted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix pretzels, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Spread in 8 x 12 inch glass pan. Bake for 10 minutes; let cool. Mix cream cheese and sugar. Beat in Cool Whip topping. Spread over cooled pretzel crust; chill. Add boiling water to Jello. Chill until it begins to thicken. Stir in defrosted strawberries. Pour over cheese layer. Chill until firm.
