STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD 
Pretzels
1 1/4 sticks butter, melted
1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c.sugar
1 (6 oz.) box strawberry/banana Jello
1 (10 oz.) box frozen strawberries
2 c. boiling water

Break pretzels into nut-size pieces to cover bottom of medium oblong baking dish. Mix with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Stir after 1 minute of baking. Cool thoroughly.

2ND LAYER: Mix Cool Whip, cream cheese and sugar. Spread over cooled pretzel mixture. Be sure to cover all edges.

3RD LAYER: Mix Jello with boiling water. Add strawberries, pour over 2nd layer. Chill well before serving.

May be used as a salad or dessert. The combination of the pretzels with the other ingredients brings about a pleasant surprise.
