POZOLE SOUP | |
4-5 lbs. roast meat 1 1/2 c. uncooked hominy 1 c. pinto beans 1 onion 1 bell pepper 1/4 bunch cilantro Salt Pepper 1-2 heads fresh garlic 2-3 qts. water Bring water and meat to boil and remove the foam. Add hominy, beans, onion, garlic, salt, pepper and bell pepper and cook until beans and hominy are fully cooked. Add cilantro and boil for few minutes more. Serve with shredded lettuce, salsa and few drops of lemon. |
