BROCCOLI-CHEESE NOODLE SOUP | |
3/4 c. chopped onion 2 tbsp. oil 6 c. boiling water 6 chicken bouillon cubes 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles 1 lb. process cheese 6 c. milk 1 tsp. salt Dash of pepper Dash of garlic powder 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen chopped broccoli or 1 1/2 lb. fresh chopped broccoli Saute onion in oil until soft; set aside. Bring water to boil and add bouillon cubes, noodles, and broccoli. Cook until tender. Add onion, cheese (cut into cubes), milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cover and let simmer until smooth and well blended. Makes 16 cups. |
