PIE PASTRY 
3 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. Crisco (or other shortening)
1 c. warm water

Mix shortening, salt and flour. Mix until well blended and like coarse crumbs. Add water and mix well together. More shortening may be added if a real flakey pastry is wanted. This makes two pies with double crust.
