MARSHMALLOW SWEET POTATOES 
4 or 5 sweet potatoes or yams (may use a 40 oz. can instead)
1/2 stick butter
1 can (1/2 c.) evaporated milk
1/2 c. brown sugar (optional)
1 c. raisins
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 or 3 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 bag marshmallows

Boil potatoes, remove skin. Mash well with potato masher or mixer. Blend in butter, milk and sugar. Add raisins and seasonings. Mix together well. Turn into greased (butter) casserole. Cover with marshmallows. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour or until marshmallows are golden brown.
