GREEN TOMATO PIE 
6 or 8 green tomatoes
Salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. vinegar
3/4 c. brown sugar
Cinnamon
Nutmeg

Slice 6 or 8 green tomatoes thin. Put in colander and sprinkle each layer with small amount of salt. Let these drain until pie crust is made. Put 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon flour in bottom of crust. Fill with tomatoes. Add 1 tablespoon vinegar and 3/4 cup brown sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Cover with top crust and bake at 375 degrees until juice bubbles out quite thick.
