DINNER PARTY STEW 
1 1/2 lb. chuck steak
Flour
1/2 c. water
24 oz. tomato juice
Garlic powder
Season salt
Pepper
1 med. onion
2 tbsp. sour cream
2 sm. cans mushrooms
1 tsp. sugar
Rice or egg noodles

Cut meat into bite-size chunks. Roll in flour and brown. Add water and mix with scrapings from pan. Add tomato juice and seasonings, season to taste. Dice onion and add cook on low heat for 75 minutes. Add sour cream and mushrooms. Stir in sugar. Serve over rice and/or egg noodles.
