HEALTHIER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1/4 lb. butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg (optional)
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. flour (whole wheat)
1-1 1/2 c. chocolate chips

Melt butter in large saucepan. Add vanilla, salt, baking powder, brown sugar, egg; stir up with a fork, then stir in water and flour. Add chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees until starting to brown.
