LIGHT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 tbsp. & 2 tsp. butter
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
3 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. brown sugar
2 egg whites
2 tbsp. water
2/3 c. all-purpose flour
3 tbsp. shreds of wheat bran cereal
1/2 c. nonfat milk powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. chocolate mini morsels

Combine butter, corn syrup, brown sugar and vanilla in a mixing bowl; beat at medium speed until blended.

Add egg whites and water to corn syrup mixture, mixing well. Add flour, dry milk powder, soda and salt to the corn syrup mixture. Mix well. Stir in oats, chocolate morsels and bran cereal. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
