ORANGE BRAISED CHICKEN 
3 lbs. frying chicken pieces
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
1 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. ground ginger

Brown chicken on all sides in hot oil in large skillet. Remove pieces; drain off fat.

Measure soy sauce, honey, orange peel, and juice into same skillet, stirring to combine. Add chicken, skin side down. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Turn pieces over; simmer, covered, 20 minutes longer or until chicken is tender. Remove chicken; keep warm.

Combine cornstarch, ginger, and 2 tablespoons water; stir into skillet. Bring to boil. Cook and stir 1 minute. Return chicken to pan and coat with sauce. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
