"NATURAL" FRENCH TOAST 
2 eggs
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 slices whole wheat bread
Fresh fruit and maple syrup

1. Beat eggs in a shallow bowl. Add the cream, vanilla and cinnamon.

2. Cut the bread slices into halves and dip them into the egg mixture. Let the bread soak about 1 minute.

3. Lightly oil a large skillet and cook the bread on both sides until golden brown.

4. To serve, chop fresh fruit in season and scatter over French toast. Drizzle with maple syrup and enjoy!
