1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. butter
2 c. flour
2 level tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. sweetened applesauce
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Sprinkle top of cake with 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Bake in 9x13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes. Good served with a scoop of ice cream.
