APPLE-CHEDDAR QUICHE | |
1 lg. cooking apple, shredded 1/2 c. white cooking wine 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 (10") quiche shell 3 eggs 1 1/2 c. cream (light or heavy) 1/4 tsp. nutmeg Marinate apple in wine at least 1 hour. Drain. Sprinkle apple and cheese into bottom of quiche shell. Beat eggs, cream and nutmeg. Pour over apples and cheese. Bake 40 to 50 minuets or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes. |
