APPLE CHEESE CRISP 
6 c. pared, sliced apples
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
1/4 lb. grated cheddar

Put apples in greased 8x8x2 pan. Mix in cinnamon, lemon juice and sugar. Combine flour, sugar and salt. Cut in butter until it resembles coarse meal. Stir in cheese. Top apples with mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
