BUTTERED BAKED POTATO SLICES 
1/2 c. butter, melted (1 stick)
4 sm. potatoes, pared and sliced 1/2 inch thick
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. pkg. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Pour half the melted butter into a shallow baking dish; place sliced potatoes in baking dish; baste well with part of the remaining butter; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in a moderate oven (375 degrees) for 25 minutes. Baste with remaining butter. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese and continue baking until potatoes are tender, about 10 minutes.
