RAINBOW ICE CREAM 
1 (4 serving size) pkg. fruit flavored gelatin, any flavor
1/2 c. boiling water
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
2 c. (1 pt.) half & half or coffee cream
2 c. (1 pt.) Borden whipping cream, unwhipped
1 c. pureed or mashed fruit, optional
Food coloring, optional

In large bowl, dissolve gelatin in water. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into ice cream freezer container. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. Freeze leftovers.

Flavor suggestions:

Lime Flavored Gelatin: Add 2 tablespoons real-lime lime juice from concentrate. Proceed as above.

Lemon Flavored Gelatin: Add 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind. Proceed as above.

Orange Flavored Gelatin: Add 1 tablespoon grated orange rind. Proceed as above.
