1 1/4 c. chopped onion
3 c. diced potatoes
3 c. water
4 chicken bouillon cubes
3 tbsp. butter
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. pepper

Cook first 3 ingredients 30 to 40 minutes until potatoes are done. Add bouillon cubes. Cook until dissolved. Add last 3 ingredients. Cook until smooth.
