QUICK LOW CALORIE SOUP 
4 c. tomato juice
1 c. water
1 carrot, peeled and grated
3 celery stalks, thinly sliced
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 clove minced garlic (or 1/4 tsp. powder)
1/2 tsp. basil leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. Chinese (or regular) cabbage
Hot pepper sauce (optional)

In a saucepan combine tomato juice, water, celery, carrots, onions, lemon juice, garlic, spices and pepper sauce. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Garnish with shredded cabbage.
