CHEESE STRAWS 
1 stick butter, softened
2 c. sifted flour
1 tbsp. cold water
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 c. softened Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. red pepper

Mix softened butter and cheese until smooth. Sift the flour and baking powder a second time, then gradually add to cheese mixture. Add other ingredients; mix until smooth. Shape into balls, then cross with fork before baking, or use the star tip on cookie press to form straws. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 12 minutes.
