GRAHAM CRACKER BRITTLE | |
The brittle is at its best after it has had time to sit. We like to store it and wait until the next day to eat it so it has had plenty of time to rest! 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine 1/3 cup sugar 9-10 graham crackers 1/2 cup sliced almonds Preheat oven to 350°F. Boil butter, margarine and sugar for 3 minutes. Spread graham crackers on a small foil lined baking sheet. Note: If you use more graham crackers you will need more of the sugar mixture. Pour sugar mixture over graham crackers and spread out with a spatula. Sprinkle sliced almonds over graham crackers and bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
