TEMPTING LONG LOAF | |
1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 c. soft butter 1 Vienna bread loaf 2 tbsp. chopped pimento 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded natural low moisture part-skim Mozzarella cheese Saute onion and green pepper in 1 tbsp. butter. Cut bread in half lengthwise; cut each half crosswise in 1 1/2 inch slices to within 1/2 inch of bottom crust. Add onion, green pepper, remaining butter and pimento to cheese; mix well. Spread on bread halves. Wrap each half in aluminum foil. Bake at 375 degrees 15 minutes. |
