RHUBARB CRISP 
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
4 c. rhubarb

Mix first 4 ingredients well with pastry blender. Put 1/2 of mixture in buttered pan. Add rhubarb. Make syrup as follows: 1 c. water 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. vanilla

Cook mixture and pour over rhubarb. Cover with remainder of crumbs. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, for 30 minutes.
