WEST INDIAN COD FISH CAKES 
1 pkg. dried codfish
2 onions
1 pkg. chives
1 green pepper
Pinch of thyme
Black pepper
2 c. self-rising flour

Soak fish overnight. Boil fish for 30 minutes. Rinse 3 times. Mince fish and onions, chives and green pepper. Stir in flour, thyme and black pepper. Drop several teaspoons of mixture in a generous amount of oil in frying pan on medium flame. Fry to golden brown.
