APPLE NUT AND SOUR CREAM CAKE 
1/2 c. walnuts
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. granulated
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
1 apple, sliced

Mix walnuts, cinnamon and 2 teaspoons sugar. Beat butter, eggs and 1 cup sugar. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add butter-egg mixture to flour mixture. Add sour cream to mixture. Put half of dough in tube pan. Lay slices of apple around dough. Pour half of nut mix over apples. Put rest of dough on top. Sprinkle rest of nut mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40- 60 minutes.
