MARINATED TOMATO SAUCE 
3 lg. ripe tomatoes
12 to 15 leaves fresh basil
1 lg. clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt

Cut tomatoes into 1 inch chunks. Mince basil leaves and combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and let it stand at room temperature for one hour. Serve over hot pasta and sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
