CUCUMBER SALAD 
1 - 1 1/2 cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced in half
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. white vinegar
1/3 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Place prepared cucumbers and garlic into quart mayonnaise jar or bowl. Mix water, vinegar and sugar together and shake and pour over cucumbers and garlic. Refrigerate. Best when served cold.

To serve, remove garlic buds and some of the juices, but keep enough juice to remain moist. Garnish with parsley.
