THREE FLAVORED CAKE 
2 sticks butter, softened
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
6 eggs, separated
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla flavor
1 tsp. lemon flavor
1 tsp. almond flavor

Cream butter and sugar, add egg yolks that have been until light and creamy. Add soda to buttermilk. Add to butter and sugar alternate with flour. Add flavors. Fold in stiffened egg whites. Bake in well greased angel food pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes until done. You may make a glaze for this cake or sprinkle with powdered sugar or served plain.
