SPAGHETTI AND BEEF BAKE 
1-1 1/4 lb. very lean ground beef
1 chopped onion
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 lb. spaghetti noodles, cooked
2-3 slices bread
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes (or crushed)

Grease 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Spread uncooked beef on bottom of dish. Add onions, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add spaghetti on top, leaving 1 inch space. Break bread on top of noodles. Press down; spread tomatoes on top. Bake uncovered for 50 minutes in 350 degree oven. Spoon onto plates and dot with butter.
