FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
1 c., 2 sticks, butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
3 c. chopped fruit, mixture of green and red candied cherries, yellow, red and green candied pineapple
Dates

Preheat oven to 375°F. Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs one at a time. Gradually beat in flour. Stir in remainder of ingredients. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until golden brown.
