MICHAEL'S FAVORITE BANANA BREAD 
8 ripe bananas, mashed
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. butter, melted
3 c. flour (unbleached)
1/2 c. wheat germ
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
Chopped nuts & raisins

Mix the bananas, eggs and butter. In a large bowl, mix the remaining ingredients, stirring just until moist. Pour into 2 (9 x 5 inch) greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Check with toothpick or push on center of loaf to see if it looks finished. Cool on wire rack for 10 to 15 minutes. Then remove from pan to cool.
