WONDERFUL ROAST BEEF 
1 good cut of roast beef (sirloin tip)
1 tbsp. Worcestershire
1 tbsp. soy sauce
4 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
1 lg. minced clove garlic
2 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in 1 c. hot water
1/2 bottle red burgundy wine
1 crumbled bay leaf
1 tsp. crushed thyme
Lots of sliced onions
Pepper to taste
Lots of sliced fresh mushrooms

Brown the roast in some vegetable oil. Put it in a roasting pan and pour all ingredients over the roast except the mushrooms. Add them an hour before the roast is done. You can also add a few carrots and potatoes if you want to. Vary the amounts of ingredients according to your family's taste. Cook covered at 325 degrees for an hour per pound of meat.
