BEER CHEESE SOUP | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. flour 4 c. hot chicken broth 1 1/2 c. cream 16 oz. Cheese Whiz 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 6 oz. beer 1/4 c. chives Melt butter in heavy pan. Add flour and mix until completely blended. Heat over low heat, mixing frequently. Add broth, cream and mix until smooth and thick. Add cheese and mix until smooth. Add beer and Worcestershire sauce. Mix in chives. Simmer 15 minutes. WATCH CAREFULLY! Garnish with popcorn. Doubles easily and freezes great! |
