OVEN BEEF STEW 
1 1/2 lb. beef stew
1 onion
4 carrots
2 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. flour
2 stalks celery
4 potatoes
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. pepper

Put meat in roaster with a little water uncovered in oven until brown. Sprinkle flour on meat. Place the cut up vegetables over that. DO NOT STIR. Mix together the water, soy sauce, salt and pepper and pour over vegetables. Bake about 2 hours. Stir now and then at 350 degrees.
