GRANOLA CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. (2 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
2 c. Quaker 100% natural cereal
2 c. Quaker oats (quick or old-fashioned, uncooked)
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add combined flour, baking soda and salt, mix well. Stir in cereal, oats and chocolate pieces. Drop by scant 1/4 cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes. Cool 2 minutes, remove to wire rack. Store tightly covered.
