SOUR CREAM COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream

Mix butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and mix. Add sour cream and vanilla. Sift flour, soda, powder and salt together. Stir sifted mixture into other ingredients.

Chill at least 1 hour. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Frost with "Butter Frosting".

FROSTING:

1/3 c. soft butter
3 c. confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
