SHRIMP AND GREEN NOODLES | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. green (spinach) noodles 3 or 4 diced green onions, including tops 2 to 3 lbs. boiled and peeled shrimp 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 c. sour cream 1 c. mayonnaise Dash of prepared mustard 2 to 3 tbsp. sherry or white wine Grated cheese Boil noodles in boiling water until barely tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and add diced green onion. Place in buttered 9 x 13 inch casserole dish. Spread shrimp over the top. Mix together soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard and wine. Pour over shrimp. Top with grated cheese and bake until bubbly in a 350 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes. Cubed chicken may be used instead of shrimp. If using chicken use cream of chicken soup in place of cream of mushroom soup. |
