MEAT MARINADE 
1 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. garlic powder or to taste
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
2/3 c. brown sugar
Couple of shakes of hot sauce (optional)

Combine ingredients. Pierce meat (boneless, skinless chicken breasts are the best) with fork. Pour marinade over. Let set at least 1 hour or longer.
