BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE 
1 pkg. (cooking) butterscotch pudding (4 c. serving)
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 tbsp. butter

Combine pudding, water and sugar in a saucepan, blending well. Cook over low heat until all sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. Continue until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove from heat. Add butter. Serve warm or cold over ice cream.
