CONNECTICUT SUPPER 
2 lb. ground beef
2 lg. potatoes, sliced thin
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. sour cream
1 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 c. grated cheese, Cheddar or American
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. crushed Saltines

Cook ground beef in pan until done. Drain grease. Place into 9x13 pan. Add potatoes sliced thinly on top of hamburger. Mix mushroom soup, sour cream, milk and salt. Pour over potatoes. Add grated cheese, sprinkle over top of soup mixture. Saute Saltines in butter, should be fairly dry. Sprinkle over cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for at least 1 hour. Poke potatoes with a fork to check if done.
