FILLED CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
5 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 can pie filling (peach, lemon, blueberry, cherry, etc.)
1 1/2 c. sugar

Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after adding each one. Add flour, baking powder and blend well.

Grease a 13x9x2 inch pan. Pour 1/2 batter into pan. Spread pie filling over the batter evenly. Add the remaining batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Serve with whipped cream or frost with a thin layer of vanilla frosting.
