FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE | |
2 c. fresh strawberries 1 (9-inch) baked pie shell 1 1/2 c. water 3/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 (3 oz.) strawberry gelatin 1/2 pt. whipped cream Thoroughly wash and dry strawberries. Cut in half. Place strawberries in baked pie shell. Set aside. Mix water with sugar and cornstarch; cook 2-5 minutes on low fire until clear and thick. Remove from heat and add strawberry gelatin; stir well until dissolved. Pour over strawberries in crust. Chill. Top with whipped cream. Serves 8. |
