3/4 c. butter 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 3 tbsp. hot water 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt Filling: 1 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. sugar Mix butter and sugar. Add water, eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients together and cream into butter mixture. For filling, bring raisins and sugar to boil and set aside to cool. Drop cookies by large teaspoon on cookie sheet. Press down center to make a well. Drop a little of the filling mixture in cookie center. Bake at 350°F on lightly greased cookie sheet for 10 to 12 minutes. |
