2 to 2 1/2 cups sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 to 1/3 cup milk
1 pie shell, unbaked

Mix together and pour into large 9-inch pie shell. Bake at 325°F for 45 to 50 minutes.

Serves 8.

Note: Judge the amount of milk according to amount of sweet potatoes.
