BARBECUED HAMBURGERS 
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. drained horseradish
1/4 c. finely diced onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Combine all ingredients; mix well. Shape into patties and place in shallow pan. Pour on barbecue sauce and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve on buns.

BARBECUE SAUCE:

1/4 c. diced onion
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 tsp. chili powder
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. ketchup or chili sauce

Combine and heat to boiling point before pouring over hamburgers.
