BAPTIST POUND CAKE 
3 c. plain flour
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. Crisco
6 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Cream Crisco, butter and egg yolks. Then gradually add sugar, flour, and milk in 3 parts. Beat egg whites and fold into mixture. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
