LENTIL SOUP 
1 c. lentils
1 qt. water
1/2 pkg. spinach (or Swiss chard)
2 lg. onions, chopped
5 tbsp. oil (I use butter)
1/4 pkg. egg noodles
Salt and pepper to taste

Wash and clean lentils. Brown onions in oil; add to cooking lentils. Add noodles and spinach. Salt and pepper to taste. Boil until cooked. Serves 4.
