FRENCH APPLESAUCE CAKE | |
1 pkg. (2 layer size) yellow cake mix 1 pkg. (4 serving size) Jello French vanilla or vanilla instant pudding & pie filling 4 eggs 1/3 c. oil 1/3 c. sour cream 1 c. applesauce 1 c. finely chopped raisins 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg Blend all ingredients in large mixer bowl. Beat 4 minutes at medium speed. Pour into greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly pressed and pulls away from sides of pan. Do not underbake. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Remove and cool on rack. Top with confectioners' sugar glaze. Glaze: Stir about 1 tablespoon hot milk or water into 1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar. |
