SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE 
1 baked pie shell
1 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 c. sour cream
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 rounded tbsp. flour
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Stew raisins in water until tender. Save 1/2 cup of juice. Add sour cream, sugar, salt, flour and cook for 5 minutes. Add beaten egg yolks and cook until thick. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour filling into pie shell and top with meringue.

MERINGUE: Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff. Add sugar and beat in. Pour in pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until meringue is golden brown.
